Being cursed never sounded so good. What may you ask is the curse? You may never know without listening to the album. Brian Chrupalyk born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the one that you hear singing his heart out, and wailing the guitar solos that sound like cousins of Joe Walsh and Eric Clapton. Believe it or not hes also the one who is keeping the beat, and rolling from the snare to the tom. To put him in the singer/songwriter category would be all so true, but a waste due to the fact that he is more capable of rock and roll then most bands already making their claim.
In comparison many fans of Brians Curse mention his likeness to John Mayer, The Strokes, The Whitestripes, The Eagles, George Harrison, and Eric Clapton. However, nobody can truly compare to this unique 21-year-olds style of writing and performing. With a great stage presence, and the label of studio hog for his skill level on all rock instruments; piano, organ, drums, guitar, bass, etc., he definitely breaks the barrier. He produces his songs with fellow musician John Smith, and is involved in every step of the recording process.
In songs like A New Revolution you can hear his unique style and yes thats him on every instrument. With Its Your Fault you hear his growling hard rock sound, then go from that to the great I Still Cry on the Fragile Lil Heart album, everybodys favorite ballad that shows the softer sensitive side. Listen through the whole album and find that all the songs touch a different type of style but all within the style of Brians Curse. Nobody can listen without feeling the emotions put into the music, nobody can watch without being totally focused on what is sung and what is played, this is what makes Brians Curse different from modern day music. Some fans say Brian will bring back classic rock with a modern twist.
